It's between the K72 and K92. I should have clarified my statement with " best GT in its class/price range" Even with the BDU-21 it's not in the caliber of JD x700s or Simplicity's near SCUT tractor. Price is nearly $5000 less as well.
Well the XT3 is still my first choice, if I were going to get a new GT hands down. I am convinced it's the best and the best buy out there. No doubt. No way I would buy anything else new other than the XT3.
Thanks

How you liking your JD 345?
It's a GT 245. It's unbelievable how well it runs, how smooth it is. The power as well. Even when I mow, which I don't use it for that because we use the zero turn, it does very well. The grass flows out from the deck like a perfect ocean wave. Being 15 years old I can't believe it. And only having 186 hours when I got it and being in the same family the whole 15 years. And it came from a JD dealer. I was first on the list with people waiting in line to see it after me when I was at the store.

No they didn't say.
Wifie said she had same problem and fumbled with the switch till it got going again.
The same thing occurred yesterday when I went to go up the ramps and into the shed where it's kept. After it was parked and off I reached under the right fender to see if the wires had come adrift - nada. But! after I dislodged the switch (half way) and reseated it - voila, uppa-downing is back again, go figure.
Aside - the fit of the ignition switch and now the lift switch fails to impress!

Flaken the good news is we are not in the direct path of the impact zone; the bad news is we're on the east side of it so the NWS predicts we'll realize the brunt of some really heavy rain. Not to mention the elevated risk of tornado's being spawned from it.
I have just finished mowing what was started yesterday evening because it will take some time to dry out from all the rain predicted.

ChuckT our city has been spraying frequently and what ever they're using seems to be keeping them at bay, although everyone here are now glowing in the dark. lol...
Maybe Barry will suck them all up and transplant them to Iowa...lol.

oldfart50 those look nice but my tractor is < 2 mos. old and if I start cutting/splicing in different lamp sockets required for those bulbs the wty. may be compromised.
I'm thinking of maybe adding a small led light bar under the frt. bumper which can be easily removed if needed.
They fir the same 1156 type socket I didn't have to change anything on mine . ~~oldguy~~
My XT3 doesnt have an 1156 socket. I bought a couple of 1156 sockets and put them in place of the LED headlights but the bulbs I bought were not an improvement. Mudyapster reported his LED bulbs weren't great as well and added a light bar. Here's the sockets I ordered.

Thanks Steve; yeah I forgot about the "plug-n-play" sockets which would be a direct replacement; duh on me.
I remembered saving yours and mudyapster's posts on bulbs a while back https://www.mytractorforum.com/19-cub-cadet-forum/1310929-need-better-headlights-my-xt3gsx-help.html after I had posted and that's why considering the light bar.:thThumbsU

I have been mowing from 8pm to 10pm using my light bars and have no problem with bug attacks. Now the rain has backed off but the grass is still growing like wild fire and I'm mowing it every 3 to 4 days. At 4 days I've almost waited to long between mowings. LOL
The LED bars are working excellent for night mowing and I even mow in a pretty straight line with them with only large bumps in the pasture throwing me off. The ice chest holder I made is also working out very well holding my little ice chest of cold ones. My XT3GSX has 131 hrs on it now in 9 months of use with no issues as of yet. Here's a few pictures of the front LED bars and my ice chest platform rigging out of 3/4" Armoflex sheet. Oh and my 60" fab deck has really saved me some time over my old 54" deck I had on my Husqvarna mower. Still loving my XT3GSX and don't think I could have bought a better machine for the $$$$. Oh and that 1/2" steel plate I made to keep from wearing out the toe lip has worked great. Hope all of have been having as good of luck with your XT3GSX as I have.
The oil cooler I added to the engine has been lowering the oil temp as designed and on my last 50 hr. oil change the oil still looked new. I think it has been keeping the oil about 10 to 18 degrees cooler according to my infrared temp gun. Here's a close up pic of the oil cooler installed. Seem like the oil cooler kit was $100 bucks and seems to be worth the cash spent on it. I'm still using full synthetic Pennzoil Platinum 10w30 along with the Mobil1 oil filter.

Dang Don. You are a mowing maniac. You've doubled my hours and I think I've had my machine for a year longer than you. Glad to hear the lights and both coolers are working out for you. Got to keep your fluids cool amirite?

I've put 32 hours on my Deere in the last month and the only mowing was for some grass clippings for mulch for the garden. Have not done much work with it over the past 2 weeks other than spraying. Went out last evening trying to get a 2 X 3 foot wagon full of grass but was only able to get a half of a load. We need rain bad! Grass is turning brown in places.
I guess I better paint the Deere yellow to post on this site.

I uploaded these to my computer as I normally do, ensured that they opened as they should, so if they're sideways I'm going to just assume that I actually live sideways to the rest of the world.
