Since there is no snow in the forcast and the X748 is in the barn ready to go. I decided to drive around and get some experience in the seat. Then I see the old mulch pile that is getting higher. I give it some pushes to get a feel for the ground I dont want to sink in or drive over the end. Its a long way down. The pics dont show the depth too good. They are out the winshield. The other pics are of some wild roses and black cap berries. I push them back. No scratches yet. I still dont feel confident on this machine. I have been driving it around to get a feel for it. Point 6 hours so far.

In CNY this time last year we had 65+ inches of snow on the ground!

As you well know we now have not a flake! and none in the forcast for quite a while!

Winter in NY is downright SHORT when you get past xmas without snow though-

On the other hand it has not been COLD so the lakes are still clear of ice and should be well positioned to generate some lake effect events in January.

Lou - nice job on the cleanup work. Who would have thought you would have a chance to plow anything but snow at this time of the year. Keep the pics coming!

39 and raining hard. Took it out and drove around for 20 minutes. Cleaned all the mud out of those new tires. Wipers work. Next time I will let the cab get warmer before I get in and fog it up.
