X530 frt weight bracket

On my x530 i have the front weight bracket which limits how high i can raise the snowblower. i wanted to remove the bracket to get more lift but the hood is fastened to the bracket. Are there other smaller brackets i can get for the front of the hood? :thanku:

I think this is why the OP can't get the lift he wants.

When the dealer installed the front weight bracket they neglected to give me the standard bumper and they don't have it now so they ordered one for me.

Bummer. After taking off the weight bracket and installing the stock bumper, i did not get any higher lift. Oh well live and learn. When the weight bracket goes back on in the spring i won't have to worry about taking it off again.
One less thing to occupy my time.
