Hello Folks, I recently purchased a used X500 from a friend and wanted to do a little maintenance on it. First I wanted to check the hydro pedals for correct clearance. I have seen a few posts that shows the clearance to be 49mm for the front pedal and 41mm for the reverse pedal. My question is this, the reverse pedal when depressed actually touches the raised lip of the foot map unlike the front pedal. When adjusting the reverse pedal, is it measured from the flat part of the foot pad or from where the pedal actually bottoms out on the lip?
Secondly, i wanted to change the hydro fluid. Since my machine doesn't have hydro lift, power steering, etc, I have read that changing the filter is really not neccessary. My question is this, is there a factory filter on this machine that I need to remove or no? The manual shows to replace just on the X534 & X540's. I didn't want to bother breaking the seal if there is nothing there to remove to start with. Thanks for any help guys.
