Was poring rain, so it got baptized :) Been looking at the attachments book, seems like lots of options. :thThumbsU

A handy Maintenance reminder sheet came with the owners manuals, has all the part numbers and all.

This is a great tractor, i think it will pull my P17 kart with no problems :)

lol is this your third tractor now?

I have to admit I really want a garden tractor too. I keep thinking about trading the X320 in, but the wife gives me THAT look when I bring it up...

Maybe I will just modify the 320 eh?

well told my salesman i wished i had bought the X500, he said NP, the 30 days is not up. They want you happy and heck they made more on the 500.

I hope to pay this off and get the 2305 with bucket by end of the year to plow the driveways.

I went to my JD dealer today to pickup a few things and they had an X500 with HDAP's on it parked right near the door. The sales guy who sold me my X300 saw me checking it out and asked if I wanted to take it for a spin. Of course I had to and what a difference. I would have cut all of their grass if I didn't have to get back to work. I might need to find a way to upgrade sooner than later. May take some creativity to get this past the wife. Maybe I'll purposely get my X300 stuck everytime I mow and have her come out and help me get it out each time. :ROF

Atta boy, albertj03. You've gotta get creative to slip one past SWMBO! To my amazement, I actually had my wife on board when I bought my used 522xi. :duh: :goodl:

KeithB78,

That is one fine x500. They always looks so nice when they are brand but look even better after getting a little dirty.

Are HDAPs in the future?

I got stuck accidently during black fly season - I think this is a big reason I was able to upgrade to the x500. Congrats on the new machine!

I wish I could afford one of them new models. I guess I will stick with my old one since I am broke!
I see in your sig you've got a 318 which many people consider to be the best Garden Tractor John Deere has made. A lot of people buy and restore them. Probably should consider yourself lucky to have one. Although I'm right there with you on wanting a nice X500.
