This is the best mower I have ever owned, not a single cry , complaint, thought of buyer remorse or anything. It rides like a cadillac and handles like a corvette and cuts like a pack of starving goats and is awesome!!!!

That would be considered a "ringing" endorsement! Glad it's more than you imagined!

The last time I had my LX to my Deere dealer for service it was sitting beside a x465. What struck me was how massive the x465 looked compared to my LX. A serious machine for sure. Glad you're happy with it.

Ya know honestly....I've never heard of the x465 what year is it from....it's obviously an ultimate series, as it looks just like my x740. What are the specs....sweet lookin machine.

The differences of the x465 from your x740 are:
-An air cooled 21hp kawasaki engine.
-Hydraulic outlets were not standard on the x465.
-Smaller seat.

The x465 was from the same era as the x475, x485, x495 (2002-2005).

Green Machine 317-You have quite the tractor there. Very nice:thThumbsU

Its a 2003. I am the second owner, prior owner was a local retired couple in there 70's, recent trade and I was at the right place at the right time. Hour meter shows nothing...BROKEN.

So who knows, but its clean and runs perfect. Joints and running gear are tight, pedals dont show hardly any wear.

I even talked with the prior owner, no problems to reports, been a great machine, they just wanted to upgrade to a newer mower.

And so did I.....

thanks guys, I polish it with Wizards polish !

WOW, looks VERY nice. Great wax job too.:thThumbsU

I'm not that familiar with these units either.
How does it differ to the X5*** series, say the 540?

VERY nice looking rig.
I'm super impressed. :fing32:

Happy mowing.

As for the Wizards Polish...
Is this the stuff?

http://www.wizardsproducts.com/store/product.php?productid=17

Is it safe for plastic (especially black) and rubber?

X465 is the Same as a X700 or X710 Minus the Liquid cooling
Basically a air cooled Version of a X700 model

The X465 is shaft driven from engine to transmission

available with optional AWS all wheel steer

Can Take any of the Following shaft driven attachments

647 48inch PTO driven tiller or model 450 tiller

42inch Hydraulic driven tiller That use a shaft driven PTO Pump of the Mid PTO

available 540RPM Rear PTO

Available with either Cat 0 or Cat 1 3point Hitch

Optional Hydraulic outlets
for running external Hydraulic cylinders On the front quick hitch to angle and Lift front Blade, 46inch single stage thrower, 47 or 54inch snow Blowers

PTO shaft extension from Mid PTO to front to run snow throwers & Blowers as well as two sizes of rotary Broom
60inch Mid Mount Grader Blade

540RPM PTO generator

Optional Mowing decks 48, 54 and 62inch

Only thing it was not set up to Take was the 45 Loader Because the Loaders sub frame interfered with the air cooling at the time the X465 Came out You could still get a 40 Loader from Deere from the Previous 425 thru 455 That could Be Mounted On the X465 Because the 40 loaders sub frame did not Interfere with the air cooling on the X465

It can also run many aftermarket attachments such as a 0r-bilt Loader, Buford Bucket or a Johnny Bucket Senior with Hydraulic lift and Dump

It may be air cooled But It is More Versatile than a X540:thThumbsU
