I used the torch to bend this 12mm craftsman wrench to change a carb on a 14hp Briggs, took less time to bend wrench than get out & go buy intake gaskets. now I"m ready for next time, or go buy metric crows feet.

Got a drawer full of tools that look like that. I'm a believer in making the right tool for the job if I don't have it.

I’d never do that to a snap on or mac, I have a Mac dealer that lives two roads over that has a tool sale every other year, it’s mainly orphaned or trade in tools. Got some great deals. That’s were a couple of my repurposed tools have come from, or refill my collection after I’ve repurposed a wrench.

That is the right way of thinking--use/fix what you have. Old time mechanics used to have a certain drawer with the 'wonder tools' in them.
