Love them DB's. Nice work so far :fing32:
Thanks Everybody. Gonna be white wheels and seat. Not really concerned about correct colours. The copper is not like the original gold and the tractor isn't all original anyway so I don't feel bad about changing it some. Plus it was slathered with heavy coats of paint. If it hadn't already been badly repainted I would not have painted myself it and only redid the mechanicals. Its looking awesome. I want one just like that or one like your blue '62. Those are my favorite looking David Bradleys. Are you going to go with the factory blue wheels or are you going to put white rims on it? What brand/color did you paint it? Looks great. Looking forward to seeing it done.
Anytime James! We'll have to give it a good workout!I can't wait to see it done!!! I will have to come visit again![]()
Don't remind me! ...Speed changer parts, thrust washers for steering, steering bushings, grille pivot bushings, belt guard, cowl lock, kill switch, steering pinion gear, clutch lever lock, idler pulley bushing, intake snorkel, brake relining, Reverse bracket bushing, more I'm sure, just what I can think of right off. All the stuff that was taken off and lost or just plain worn out I had to make to set it back right. What kind of parts are you reproducing?
Wheels are already done, That's the easy part. Backwards, I know, but I always start with the last thing first. It helps me to see to the endall that work are you going to redo the wheels
Hope you can come for a visit someday Hugh!Looks good! Ill be right on James' tail to come see it
I know! It was almost a year ago. There's an old Maine excuse for when things are taking far too long,.... "You can't just rush into these kind of things". lolSweet I remeber you posting the finished grill, LOL!!! That was a while back. Looking great so far!!!!! I can't wait to see it finished.

If you ever do then please keep me in mind. I robbed a few parts from another one and would like to replace them sometime. I'd love to buy the whole thing from you if I was any closer.Looking good, I hope to repaint mine in the next few years. I have a pretty complete 61 down here to move. I hate to part it out, but may be the only way to move it, no one around here fools with them.
