[Old Yeller]

Today I finally found some time to try to figure out why my battery is not charging. It appeared to me that there were some wires connected at the wrong spots at the switch. I have a dual circuit system and so I connented the diode side(red wire) to the battery (B) terminal on the switch. I tried to start the tractor and nothing. I checked the fuse and noticed it was blown. Is there something I'm not seeing or understanding. Please help

Its a craftsman LT 10/36 now has a b&s 11hp engine on it. Its the yellow tractor you see. The guy who put the engine on it had one too many blues(beers) when he did it.
