I've been ditching some of the subscriptions I have because I'm tired of sifting through the e-mails. I'll drop Davids farm soon too because to me he and his weirdo crew are all a bunch of wasters and destroyers of perfectly good stuff. Makes me suspicious of where its all coming from anyway. (when does he actually work??) The guy runs around acting like a fifteen year old when he looks like he's in his 50's.

You can ditch me, it won't bother me. Don't ditch anyone on my account. I liked Davids Farm till recently, Its just gotten to be a bunch of idiotic and dangerous stuff that he is showing young people. I would rather my sons discover danger on accedent.:ROF
I agree DF was informative at one time but the youtube sensation has gone too far, now it seems like he's pulling publicity stunts. (maybe I'm just getting old) oh well.

I don't have a YouTube account, but feel the same way about Facebook (yes...I know, I'm a little old for a social networking site, but it helps me reconnect with old friends that I've lost touch with over the years.)
When I see my number drop in my friends list, I wonder, who de-friended me? And why??? I realize it's just the internet, but it still bothers me a little bit.

The only videos i like from him are the cold starts, fist starts, and small engine videos. other than that, nothing else.

I agree, but isn't watching vehicles climbing "Sky Hill" and vehicles jumping funny every once in awhile.....????? I mean they were already bound for scrap I'm sure. But, I am sure that Dave has LOTS of cars up there to spair. Sorry, off topic! :hide:

As a fellow ******* gearhead, I enjoy most of Dave's videos, but I cringe when I see some of the stuff he destroys. I'm an old car nut and just hate to see good stuff wrecked (same reason I HATE the demolition derby).

Yeah it was three/four years ago when some ding dong took a 1957 Chevy sedan into our demo derby. He was attacked and lasted one heat. It was such a pretty car too. The crowd was shocked that such a car was even entered. But like you I cringe at demo derbys. I guess I have a soft spot for older cars.:ROF

!!! WWOWW !!! I just got back from "Davidsfarm" Hope that guy has some REAL good insurance. There's some incredibly dangerous crap going on there, not the least of which was the seat on the pole on the front loader. All it's gonna take is one blown hydraulic hose..........
What worries me is all the kids running around there. 12-15?? year olds riding "sky hill"? Where are their parents?

My point exactly. I think David says something to the tune of "this is not jackass" on his 1000th video something or another. I beg to differ and I don't agree with his lifestyle thats just me though. People will watch what they want and DF has become a youtube sensation because of it.
