Ran out of room at the workshop as too many Deere are gathering there. Debated on one of those self storage places but they were kind of expensive and not to convenient as to getting them there. Here is the result.. figure i can fit 8 or so in there...

Yep.... So did I... :hide: the first and second row is easy... Then the third and fourth are not... Always seems like I am 1/2 inch long in one direction.

The big problem with storage units is it is a constant battle of moving machines around... Which ones need to be at home which ones need to be stored. It's a pain.... But with a little forward thinking and planning it's not bad.

Yes, I think you might need to get rid of one or five.:sidelaugh The "non running" to the back might not work though. Those are the ones that you want to work on sometimes. Best of luck with it. Winter is not one of my favorite times of the year.

The 214 is in the garage, the S82 rider is next door in my FIL's barn, less engine. That's in the garage torn down on the work bench awaiting a rebuild. That's my meager JD herd.

X495 and 318 and 210 in garage and 110 in my knife shop, the only one that will go in the 36" walk in door. The 210 will move to a storage building in the back for winter as I need space for wood pellets in the garage. And I am out of room, and looking for more Deere.

I have a two story shop that is like a bank barn (880 feet on each floor). I have four tractors downstairs and three up top. Seven of them are 400 series and those big boys take up a lot of room. Still, it makes me smile when I walk in and see them together.

Little, Wally and Bror will be on my side of the garage in the new place... I'm hoping moving from a 24x26 garage to a 26x28 garage I'll be able to park all three end to end... Krusty is currently stored offsite, now that we relocated Crusty the badger out one of my dad's buildings... I was able to fit Krusty, all his attachments, the 36 blower, the tiller and the frame from Unnamed 110 (a future project) into a space roughly the size of a storage unit... Oh and also all the totes containing the rest of the parts of Unnamed 110. I gotta say, these little guys fit better when they're de-hydrated!

With any luck, Krusty will come back to town and live in one of the exterior sheds at the new place... As LTGal's mowing machine... Cuz he's so cute!

One of my 420's was at my folks place for 5 years, they could cut grass, push snow, how ever it was needed. Then I sold all my 420's and bought. X485

The 40 & 790 are side by side in one shed, 70 I behind them & the 314 & Gator in an adjoining shed. Storage isn't as big of a problem since I sold off the ones I didn't use!

I thought it might amuse some of you to see how the poorer members do winter storage. I had to clear the garage out to do some Christmas woodworking projects so I put up an old tarp about 200 ft behind the house. It may not be much better than just setting outside, but it's something. There are 4 Deere in there mixed in with other stuff. I've been back there this morning taking out batterys and draining gas tanks.

I keep mine in machine sheds. My brother bought a really nice used enclosed trailer. I was planning on borrowing it to take a couple tractors to some tractor shows. Well, I couldn't borrow it. Because he basically parked it and put a couple tractors in it plus other attachments. So I guess it's now a portable shed. The trailer is a 18ft enclose, was a nice trailer.

all stored in the shop for easy access to the driveway for plowing; still plenty of room to pull a vehicle in a walk around (shop is about 27'x27' 2 stories) and keep all none essential winter attachments in the 10'x16' shed.

I have about 45 machines here.. some r in my shop/showroom/mancave.. the rest r scattered about.. a few r in the 'mower garage' (14 x 56 gutted out mobile home).. I also have the capacity for 9 in my 12 x 20 Shelter Logic storage .. (most of my workers r in here).. then in my avatar buildin (14 x 20 )the rest of the workers & 3round fender JD's & a cubby 100.. one lonely GT is in another shed.. & 3 JD rounds in the leanto shed.. all the 45 r under a roof tho

it takes a lotta square footage to store them.. snow removal is a big prob when movin a machine to a diff shed..

FORTY FIVE ????? holy hibiscus batman !!! id love to get the list of them and what implements you have :)

Yup i got it bad.. not 2 days later of getting the container and im going for another one (tractor) tomorrow..

Would honestly like to keep and restore 3 a 318, 425, and the 430 ( the 318 will stay home )

That being said i have a 4 way plow and a 49 snowblower and i am thinking i will post 2 3xx series tractor snow packages when the first big snow storm is ready to hit on craigslist, then get the rest of the overflow ready for sale when mowing season starts...
