my grandpa gave me a homelite xl12 old blue chainsaw that had sezied up a few years ago. so we took it apart and it broke loose. the cylinder was scored so we need a new one but dont know where to find one. i will try a small engine repair shop in the next town over and see if he has one or can get me one thats used and in good condition but reasnobly priced. if i cant find one there my dad will ask a guy at his work. thanks for any replys

I remember reading somewhere that you can have the jugs bored out and re-coated, but I am not sure how much that would cost.

thanks waterlooboy2hp it was over by the time i looked at it but that gives me alot of hope i can find what i need. it said it was for an automatic oiler but mines a manual so i dont know if theirs any diffrence in the cylinder or not but thanks any way im thankful for the help any way.
