I'm sure I'm not the first to do this... but I had to share since it was so much fun.

After I was done sweeping the leaves with my 417-A and lawn sweeper last weekend, I ended up with a LARGE pile of leaves that needed to be moved through the gate and into the woods.

The my single stage 42 inch snowblower on my Wheel Horse did an awesome job of throwing the leaves in a 10 ft directed stream. I was able to scrap them right off the top of the grass and easily throw them into the woods.

I saw a neighbor use "her" snowblower to rid her yard of rocks!! (left by road commission
after winter snowplowing). All I could do was cringe.

But the snowblower/leaf idea sounds interesting. As long as you blew them
downwind.

I can picture the leaves getting aireborne in a wind and the
neighbors coming out with torches and pitchforks....lol

Thanks Mike, you just gave me justification to get a blower. We don't get enough snow down here to run one but, I gots lots of leaves
