Don't have the mower ,so I don't know how it cuts .I do plow snow with it and it has plenty of power . when you hit a snow bank and stop, it will spin the tires on concrete with chains, in high gear , with wheel weights installed , and a 225 lb. driver .It won't stall. The wheel horse plow has a blade angle lever that you can reach from the drivers seat . very useful plowing machine.

If we are talking Wheel Horse 300 series then yes, they cut great. I have a 416-8 which really between the 300 and 400 there isn't much difference but engine choice and deck, but my 42" 3 blade deck cuts unbelieveably well. I replaced a new Cub for an old Wheel Horse both with 42" decks and mine WH out cuts it. The difference I feel is the tall dome deck and the fact that it floats.
