The 1970 Raider 10 is model number 1-6051. There should be an ID plate below the dash housing with the serial number. I don't know when the change was made but early production used Tecumseh HH100-115145B and late production used HH100-115145C both with solid state magneto and 10 amp stator. Post the serial # if you find it.

will show if a part is still available from Toro. Enter the part number and if it comes up priced it should still be available from any Toro dealer.

You can also type Toro in the 2nd box and 1-6051 in the 3rd box to bring up the ipl.

Tractor drive belt Toro 7473 {HB/5Lx81.95"}
6982 Gates 21/32"x82"
5L820W Napa 21/32"x82"
258-082 Stens 5/8"x82"
85820 Goodyear 5/8"x82"
L582 Dayco 5/8"x82"
.625"x081.95"

hey Clinton, if you didn't get your manual yet let me know. Frank
for the throttle cable, squirt a lil wd40 at either and and work it. It may, or may not help. Maybe a soak in diesel oil (of course keeping the lever out if it's plastic), and playing with it back and forth every day or two.
got the throttle cable loosend up .running a little sporaticly ,carburator dripping fuel
is it possible that original owner put an 81" drive belt on it so the clutch doesnt work (what i was told)? could a 1" belt difference make it not engage the clutch as to shift gears ?
Yes--definately make a difference--also on the Wheelhorses--the belt guard needs to be back on it--as the little tabs help it run true...IMHO--use only a TORO branded belt...

does anyone know if a wheel horse tiller model # 7-1232 will fit my raider 10
No it will not.

It is a 1970-73 model for the GT-14 with a 3-point hitch.

Your tractor calls for tiller model 7-1211 with 2 drive belts.

Here are the model numbers that followed 7-1251, 7-1252, 67-36TL01, 77-36TL01, 77-36TL02, 87-36TL01, 97-36TL01, 07-36TL01, 07-36TL02, 07-36TL03, 07-36TL04, 07-36TL05, 79370 and think they would work with the correct idlers. You pto clutch pulleys may be a different diameter than what these are designed for.
