I picked up another g14 for a doner hood and steering column for my diesel, and now I'm trying to figure out what to do with the rest. It hasn't run in 2 years but the techumseh has good compression. It's a hydrostatic model, with a mowing deck on it and full hydraulics. What should I be asking for this? I'll sell it complete with my other hood and column on it, I just don't have time to get it running or part it out.

I don't mean to sound sarcastic but it is worth about .02 cents a pound not running and as pictured. That's the scrap value. Now it is possible someone will see it as a diamond in the rough and pay more (and that is what I assume you are intending). But not knowing why it doesn't run and what it needs, to be honest, is worth scrap value pricing in my area.

If it was down the road from me I would come get it and consider it parts tractor unless I could drive it. But, taking a chance on it I'd have no problem giving $200.00 with the deck. It's worth that all day in parts, if it is a good runner then it's worth more. I'd start at $200 as-is and see what happens. BTW that tractor would be an H14 if it is hydrostatic drive, the G14 was a gear drive tractor.

Some body would buy it and restore it or use for parts but I would say you could get more by parting it out or all for about $120.
Especially on the west coast Bolens parts are hard to fined.

Honestly the guy said it ran 2 years ago before the battery died and the one tire went flat. Maybe I'll throw some gas in it and see if it'll light off. If the tiller on my g14 wasn't such a ***** to get off I would keep the mowing deck, but I have a John Deere that mows fine now so I can't justify having 3...
