What to do? L/b Electric Start

958 Views 8 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  shadow1961
I just pulled a complete electric start system off of an F series machine. The system worked perfectly and looks very nice but cutting commercially it is unnecessary.(it also weighs about 10lbs) Do you think anyone would buy it on ebay or is it not worth my time?
I have everything from the key, ignition, cables, starter, battery, cover and all wiring. Thanks.

I could use a 2-prong male/female pigtail :)
I also think ebay would be a good choice. You MIGHT get more selling the starter motor, harness / switch separate. There are probably people searching who only need one part or the other.
Thanks for the input. What would be a good price for a buy it now? Would asking $35 be too much for everything?
That seems to me like it would be a fair price. I think that it'd go pretty quick. Good Luck!
As long as its complete, why not just hold onto it for when the LBAD takes over? I can tell you from experience that you will be mad that you sold it...

Best wishes,
Bob
