Bought a John Deere snow blower for my 212. Not sure what model it is as the ID plate is gone. Can anyone tell me what it is? Here are some pics of it. Thanks, William

Hi William, are you sure its a JD blower? I ask because it looks a lot like a Roper single stage that's used on Sears Suburbans, that's been painted yellow.

You should be looking for a model 37A or 37 blower for your 212.

I'm not positive that it's a JD, but I am fairly certain it is. The brackets for it fit the front of my tractor, and they are the JD quick disconnect brackets. Other that that I am unsure of anything else about it. Thanks for the help so far.

That bracket that drops into the front mount with the arms going back to the mid mount point isn't used on a 212. Not saying that someone didn't modify this snowblower for use on a JD but that certainly isn't a JD snowblower. Here are pics of the proper snowblower for the 200 series.

The bracket on the front of the your snowblower is for a Sears Suburban like imy SS12 in the pictures. Mine has a blade on it but it mounts the same way. Roger
