I picked this beast up about a week ago and I haven't been able to find anything about it.

Promaster 50 -- uses a wak-behind engine and transmission. Fun units to drive.

I know nothing about them, but it looks like a ProMaster to me.

Early model PM-50. Your engine, if original, is a K-341 instead of a later M-16S. Later model PM-50/PM-16 units had dual rear steering wheels. Mower deck is not original as they used the same decks as the 4-wheel tractors. Yours has a welded deck. Like used on a ZTR model.

My nephew blew up a battery once, I would bet that battery would "bark" if anything happened!! :duh:

Or at least "de-bark" the operator!! :14_6_5:

It runs and cuts awesome.
I did set it up with the battery box and I'm putting a muffler on it tomorrow.
Is there anywhere I can find a owners/ repair manual to download for it.

That is a walk behind only if you have the axle in low range. A run behind is more like it. I have one too.
