Hello,,I had posted in another forum,but I think I should have posted in this forum. My question is what kind of lubricant to put in a John Deere 170 transmission? My transmission went out on me and I got another transmission that was bad, and now have put the 2 together to make one and I think it will be ok but before I button it up I have to put a lubricant in it. I had someone tell me it was a grease that went in it. Can anyone confirm what does go in the tranny? Thanks
