What is this odd thing wrapped around this Ford? The tractor was in a small field, no more than a few acres, being engulfed by this equipment. I thing the things on the wheels are PTOs, but I wonder why it does not use a standard PTO. The lettering on the yellow box on top of the unit says "PULL-PIX".

I try never to go anywhere without the camera. There are so many unusual things in this area, I never know what I will see. In the third picture you can see the UMass dorm towers in the background.

i'm guessing a potato digger because of the buster in the front

I looked it up and its seems to be a bean picker.They land in big baskets at the back.

That's a neet Hi-crop. I never seen one like that. Looks like it might be chain drive off the axle. Thanks for posting the photo.

That is a heck of a setup on the back axle but I would have to agree with it being a picker of some sort. Would like to see it working...
