Boy! that thing looks like a piece of history!! I haven't a clue what the heck it is but I hope you get it!! It kinda looks like an old Lauson or B&S but I don't know.. :dunno:

**I've been looking at a lot of old 4-stroke engines thanks to your thread!:fing32: Maybe one of the old timers or enthusiasts will be able to identify it for you! :goodl::howdy:

Hi all

doubt it would be Wisconsin as I live in New Zealand, have never heard of it here before...but took a risk and bought it today, have photos of engine in the 'walk behind mowers' section I've just added...I have a feeling its english? Hopefully one of you gurus can ID it for me, so then I'll know what to look for parts wise.
Thank you!

If Wisconsin ever made a 2 stroke,I've yet to see one....but who knows?...just because I never saw one, dont mean there aint no such thing!..

I'd guess Lauson/Power-Products,or maybe Clinton,Jacobsen,or McCullogh??....cant tell by the photo..I've had a few Power-Products,they had no head OR head gasket,it was cast as part of the cylinder and the whole "jug" slid off the crankcase in one peice...

What are those things beside the engine??.one looks like a muffler, the other looks like a starter motor??....definately an odd duck!..
