I know that it is a sickle bar mower, I'm guessing it might be for a small Allis since it is kinda orange. Not sure what type of tractor that this would mount to. Obviously, it would be a small garden type. The cutter bar is 36 inches or so. The thing works really smoothly. The only marking I can find says "Model A".

I'm really looking for how it would have been mounted. I would like to build something to hang it off the 3-point on my Mahindra 24 HST sub-compact. Any suggestions willl be appreciated.

It looks like an attachment for a two-wheel, walk behind garden tractor. My grandfather had a David Bradley with an attachment like that. His was green, bet there were other brands in the day.
