Honestly and admittedly, I don't know anything about the Kioti brand, but I must say after spending about twenty minutes’ time searching Kioti reviews on the net... I was less than impressed. I care not what a man buys as far as color goes and I reserve that right myself to change color (i.e. brand) if something catches my eye. In all fairness I saw way too many red flags reading those reviews. My school of thought has always been that if a machine or tool does the job for you then I don’t care what color it is. If you like it, then it is the right one for you. Just do your research carefully and read all you can before purchase. Standard advice around here is to put your butt in the seat and try it out and then dealer, dealer, dealer. No matter what tractor you buy, your ownership experience will be magnified tenfold by a Good or a BAD dealer. Best of luck in your quest.

I've nver used a KIOTI, but had some guys do some work with one when I was building the deck... these guys kicked the crap out of it, and it took it all and never blinked an eye. The tractor was parked in my driveway for several days and overnights - every morning it started right up, and went to work....

the little experience I had (second hand) was all good..... if I was on a real budget and didn't care about color, I'd be checking it out....

in my research for a second, larger machine, I've looked at them. honestly they look like well built machines with a lot of impressive options. Also, very reasonably priced. the down side, the ck25 I test drove seemed top heavy compared to other brands. also the dealership network seems kinda shody compared to the more established brands.

Compared to a Deere or Kubota...I think it is a 2nd tier tractor...that being said, it should do anything you ask of it...it's just not as pretty...:D

Daedong is the Korean company that makes the Kioti's and Bobcat units.

If you want a Kioti and you have a Bobcat dealer in your area...you can get effectively get a Kioti in Bobcat paintjob...

Remember THE dealership can make or BREAK any long-term tractor deal...;)

I do some sub contract work using our JD tractors for a fellow that has a small landscaping company, he has a Kioti, not sure what model as I personally do not know much about them, there is a dealership just outside our city but I have never seen one in all my travels, anyhow his is around 30 HP. He doesn't have many hours on it, less than 200, the Hydro has been rebuilt twice this summer, he has had some issues with the clutch slipping, he has issues on hills in high range....he has mentioned other issues but I honestly forget. He is an older guy and I believe he takes care of his equipment, he bought it as it's what he could afford.

Main issue for him is he would like to trade it for a JD or Kubota, the dealers will not touch the Kioti.

i had one of the first CK20's when they came out, had about 400 hours on it and spun a spline shaft in the hydro unit, so they replaced the entire hydro - warranty at that time was 200 hours, so it ended up costing me $1000 out of pocket. The manufacturer never contacted me despite numerous calls, letters and emails. After that, I lost all faith in it and the company, afraid to use the dang thing for fear of breaking it. Traded up and bought a name brand this time - couldn't be happier.
