this is in regards to my 124.

Before I start taking things apart, I thought I would get some opinion from you guys. I just noticed this oil leak today and it looks like the oil is leaking from the head bolt. However I don't see any oil leaking anywhere else. I torqued down the bolt but it did not help. The tractor was only running for about 10 minutes when I saw this leak.

I'm all ears. Thanks for the help.

It could be as simple as a gasket.

When you say you "torqued it down" did you use an actual spec? If so, did you check the adjacent bolts for the same value?

I only torqued the exposed bolts (25 ft lbs) since I did not take anything apart around the engine.

My question why would the oil come up that particular bolt and no sign of any oil around the side of the engine? I'll take things apart and hopefully it's just a gasket issue.
