Yes it is the v-twin Kawasaki. Its also the engine that had the plastic camshaft gear in the early models. So if you are considering purchasing one its a good idea to find out if it has the steel camshaft gear or the plastic gear. Many were replaced under warranty but some managed to survive. Its around $1000 to fix if your Deere dealer does it.
If been looking at a few F911s but the Deere dealers seem to struggle to tell me whether the engine has the plastic or steel gear. There is a serial number break on the engines where they switched to the steel gear but I can't seem to find it. Perhaps someone will post here if they have that information.
