After a two-year hiatus, I found the time to get out one of the C8s, stick a rotary plow on it, and turn the garden over.

I always enjoy being reminded how fun these machines are, and what a great job they do!

I think we think alike, John. I'm going to be transplanting a 7ft. rhododendron shortly. I'm thinking of using the scoop, and rotary plow with the 814. The scoop to move it to it's new location, and the rotary plow to dig it's hole. It should be fun.

I picked up an old-style Walk Behind trailer yesterday. Turned up on FB near me. Missing tailgate, has surface rust but is solid. Does anyone have the IPL for this version? Note the inboard wheels and the heavy tilt-latch. I'm told these are fairly rare.

I just got a copy of the IPL for this cart circa 1966.
I started cleaning up the wheels and tires today. They are in better shape than I expected. If they don’t hold air when I’m done, I’ll tube them.

Hi Dave,
Most of the WB carts are red. This early one has the same frame as the wood cart. It matches nicely to my yellow & white 1966 C-10.

I can picture it looking good with your C-10. There has to be a pic of this setup in an old Gravely brochure somewhere. There is still an original white 38 in. blower for sale by me (1st white blower I've ever seen), but since I already have 2 rider blowers, I can't justify picking up a third one.

Today I used the scoop that came with the L8 some years ago for the first time to transplant a 7ft. rhododendron from the side of the house to the front. It also came in handy for shuttling dirt back, and forth. The winch came in handy again as well.

Better half wanted to buy and plant shrubbery. She was all ready to dig holes with a shovel, but I intervened. Got out the rotary plow with the planter drill, and it made short work of the holes. Power vs Drudgery!

I gave the '80 8122 a good workout today pulling a 5' landscape rake. Snow plowing had thrown crushed stone onto the lawn along a 400 ft driveway and a large wheel loader left many 2" - 8" deep ruts in a 400 sq ft area of a parking field. The 8122 with ags did better than the '04 JD GT245 with turfs that I have used in the past although I did spin the ags at times.

Those wheels look like these, gotta clean them up sumtin awfull. They came on a sulky I got, but no tires. They are 8" across and not quite 31/2" tall. They even have a grease ftg. for the bearings.

I got the early 60's (maybe? It's a mongrel for sure) LI running for the first time in my 3 years of owning it after a long, expensive winter of tinkering.

I took a little video of my driving past the camera with the cart on, but it exceeds the posting limit.
