I’m going to try and keep a log of my auctions this year. This coming week there is a sale in Annapolis, I’d like to go to, but can’t. I’m going on a Wild Boar hunt in SC the following week, and don’t have 2 extra nickels to rub together. The sale has a 4X2 Gator and a Case 1835B skid loader. I think my cousin is going, if he does I’ll get him to take notes. Just read more of this weekends sale, a Farmall Super A with attachments, Honda Encore 48z, Grasshopper 725K Z Turn.

SMC, it might be easier to get a pflow for your deck and use that instead of an additional engine/blower.
I’m still in the “Thinking about it” stage. I have a two bag Power Flo complete, with a 50” deck in great shape, for a 318. I think if I sell it I want to keep it as a set. When I asked my JD buddy what mine is worth he said the whole package for a 318 would bring pretty good money, didn’t say what pretty good is? But, he said he just threw away two Power Flo heads because he couldn’t sell the on FB or CL. So, you may be able to find just the PF head cheap.

It’s midnight and I’m looking at auctions. On Thursday there is one about 50 miles from me. It lists a John Deere Commercial Z-Turn, don’t know what that is? A John Deere 48c Convertible riding mower, don’t know what that is? This add doesn’t have pics. These are the kind of sales I like. Mowing season is around the corner. If a start up lawn company needs a good Z-Turn, and one with better details is listed at another sale, he’ll got to the other sale. Same with the mower. If they listed model and condition, it would draw more people. Might be a couple garage queens, might just be a pile of rust in the rough. A friend is bringing his 75‘ bucket truck over to take down a big Oak in my MIL’s front yard Thursday, so I can’t go to that sale either.

Edit. The Thursday auction is an on line sale open to bids now. I had to go to the auctioneers web site to see the pics. The tractor is a very nice looking GT235, no rust in pic, mint seat, wheel weights. Current bid is $360. I didn’t look at the Z-Turn close but both mowers were in a garage, and it looks nice at a glance. Current bid is $4010.

I have had a home made "trac-vac" with an old leaf vac for a powerhead/vac and build a wagon. Mounted the vac on the trailer. It worked great until the engine seized up.
I bought a hitch mounted "trac-vac" for my 314 for $70 with a very small single metal hopper and i could only make 3 passes around the yard before I had to empty it, so that was a no go.
I bought a partial powerflow system for $100. I need the hitch for the rear and a double pully for it yet

@mopar65pa , which hitch part do you need? I picked up a really cheap MC519 back at the end of summer and have parts left from it.

@ MiniHomestead I need the tractor frame hitch to hook the trailer to and the double pulley. I can get a pulley off e-bay but I can't find the hitch.

Do you know what the hitch looks like? Is it like the Cyclone hitch that is just a piece of angle with holes to bolt to the tractor and 2 holes for the pins on the Cyclone. I'm going to make one for my daughters X500 out of 2X2 angle.

It's standard MC519 hitch on the tractor to an open frame 318-332. But I can't find just the hitch. It's all or nothing.

Mopar, do any of your tractors have a 3 point hitch? If so, it would be fairly easy to make it attach to the 3 point rather than direct to the frame .I modified my hydraulic dump mcs to hang off my 3 point.

Will the parts Deere still has for the MC519 work?

I've been plugging along cleaning out the tractor shed and making progress. My wife said while I was at it, I needed to fix the triangles on the peak. The 30 year old ply wood was starting to separate and fall apart. So, today I fixe one end. The inside is coming along nicely. I have a space for the 265 and the 318. I moved two of my tool boxes from the garage to the shed, and I have space for the other 3 boxes. I was tired when I finished today, so the only pic I took was of the patched up peak. When good weather sets in for good, I'll paint the whole shed one color.

I wonder what the difference between # 25 and #30. I have #25 and I don’t need it.

That's what I need I think. Too bad you're not still in Middletown. That was 15 mins from me, Shermansdale is 45 to an hr from me.

Ok here's pics of my hopper hitch.

PM your address, I have trucks all over central PA. I’ll throw it in my truck, next time I’m in your area, it’ll end up on your porch.

In the pics, they look the same to me. But, sometimes the pics are generic and are different than the final part.
The parts listing I looked listed newer models as using the parts listing.

The 2 item numbers have different part numbers.
25 says it's not used in this application (I presume that means no used on the newer machines ? (but just guessing)

25 - Bail
Part NumberM122178
Qty Req1
Remarks(NOT USED THIS APPL)

31 - Bail
Part NumberM146520
Qty Req1

31 is a 'pricey' item -- near double the price of item 25
