This is version 2.0 of "What did you do to or on your John Deere today?" :howdy:
:sidelaugh:sidelaugh:sidelaughI thought about how I'm going to move Bror (with his non-functional carb) over to the new place on December 2nd. I believe its going to involve Wally, my 20 foot nylon tow rope, and LTGal sitting on Bror's seat to steer (and, I'm told, make "Chugga chugga CHOO CHOO!" noises as we travel the four blocks down the back alley to the new place... If my current neighbours thought we were nuts....:dunno.
I'm so glad you asked this question. I hope you get an answer. I'm in the process of patching together a "Frankenvac" from various parts and pieces and I'm just overwhelmed by all the different choices when it comes to the hoses. Mine needs to be a 6" hose and I guesstimate that I'll need <10' of it.KWDAILYD said:Where do you all get your leaf pick up hose? I need a new one for my trac vac. I researched it online and there are so many choices in material and thickness I don't know which one to get.
LTG.. Y not add a 12volt air compressor to Wally.. then add a 'steam whistle' so u can TOOT it off a few times...I thought about how I'm going to move Bror (with his non-functional carb) over to the new place on December 2nd. I hope this "quote" works since I copied it from the original thread and had to add the quote part by hand. If you do end up getting any answers or suggestions Larry, please let me know. Thanks.
Sounds like the BB was just a waste of money! You should get rid of it! ! ! Lol. Amazing how many things you can find to use it for. I'll be doing almost the same things in a few weeks with mine.OK, while I'm at it, I'll add what I did with my John Deere(s) today. I used my Buford Bucket to move my 20 year old compost pile (the entire pile) into the garden, added some chopped and shredded straw and some of my neighbors leaves to increase the amount of organic material in the soil since it is primarily clay, and tilled it all under with my 420 and the 48" tiller. I tilled it in 3 directions and it came out looking awesome.
Then I used my BB to relocate a 49 snow thrower, a 54 plow and a power dethatcher into my Shelter Logic tarp shelter (AKA the Ghetto Garage). The BB made everything so easy (especially on my back) that it was downright enjoyable. I'm loving this Buford Bucket!

Is there going to be a special edition DVD entitled "The Big Move: Bror's View" and can we pre-order. Or will this be a straight to YouTube production?I thought about how I'm going to move Bror (with his non-functional carb) over to the new place on December 2nd.
