Is this a 10 cart? Old style lettering I can't tell so up for opinions.

I don't think it is a Deere cart QA,it looks like a Brinly cart someone painted.Not that it really matters because Brinly made the Deere carts in that series (5,7,10,15)anyway.Minor differences,2 piece tub on the Brinly vs.1 piece on the Deere cart(except the earliest ones),lift off tailgate on the Brinly vs.hinged gate on the Deere,narrow wheels and no lock mech on the dump lever(Brinly),and last the Deere cart had the hitch pin fastened to the drawbar with a chain.Also the Deere carts had a black undercarriage and drawbar.

It is a bit odd looking. My best guess is that it's an attempt to pass off another brand as a JD Model 10. It's defintiely not a 10S, and it just doesn't look right for a 10.

It may not be a genuine Deer cart but the price is right:fing32: I say buy it!

It looks like the trailer that I have which is not a JD and is an Agri-fab and is white in color that I purchased from a Box store years ago. I would say that the price is right if you need a cart or trailer.

If it is a JD model 10, it has been repainted. The JD cart has a black pull bar and the under carriage is not yellow. They also used wheel barrow tires which are narrower then the correct tires and that is one reason they will not hold air.

The tapered tub sides look a lot like my model 15 cart. The tounge is the wrong color compaired to my cart but that may be what they came like when it was made. The plywood floor makes it look different. I'd say go lool at it and see if it has a model tag or label.

And here's the rub, the debate about I can paint my trailer JD colors?? Well it's yours and paint it any color you want ! , BUT don't try to pass it off a a genuine JD trailer for sale IMHO

Hmm you know it never even occurred to me it might not be a Deere cart. But I think you may be right. I don't need a cart I got a 10s a month or so ago so I actually would like a 15 or 18 just because but I thought for 50 bucks I'd take a look at it but I don't think so. Although its right by a really pretty all painted nice patio model 80. However the $600.00 price tag was a bit high I thought.
