What an awful looking GT-14. $30 running good made up for it somewhat.

Aside from having a good battery and running like new, this thing is the worst looking GT-14 I ever saw. Definitely going to be in parts next week. I did pull my $60 Deere 316 onto the car trailer with it though. At least it has the air cleaner and the guy didn't paint the engine black. Tank doesn't leak but on closer inspection, looks like the nipple has been repaired. And too bad it has the manual PTO clutch.

unless its really rusty i wouldnt part it. looks to be in good condition still except paint job.

Doesn't look bad, great for thirty bucks!

All you need is elbow grease and Rustoleum Regal Red. Then get a decal set from Terry and you'll be all set!

That two-piece back seat is worth the $30....even thou some of the early GT-14's had a different little lo-back seat. On the PTO clutch--the electric one most likely went bad--I'd like to find just one of the clutch's myself...
I've got a lot of GT-14 parts if you get in a bind...

besides you could always take it to a swap meet and sell it lol theres one in veedersburg indiana 18-20

Glenn, I'm actually parting out a much better GT-14 I bought a year ago. Don't need any parts. I had a nice GT-14 years ago with a decent deck 3 point blade & tiller. I think I used the local supply of accessories up.

Is the GT-14 considered bigger than the 953? Definitely heavier.
