So my smexy Mrs. and I took the kiddos into town with us to run some errands. We stopped on our way out of town at the local Wal-Mart to pick up some canning supplies and a few groceries.

We found pristine peaches and plums at 50 and 40 cents a pound each. Normally Wally-world doesn't put such sales on produce unless it's...well...not worth much. This time was remarkably different however. The fruit was fresh, tasty, and prime!

Took home 20+ pounds of peaches, and about 10 pounds in plums. I have almost a doz. quarts of home-canned peaches and 10 pints of plumsauce.

Not just those goodies, but I have 3 gallons of Peach-strawberry wine, 3 gallons of grape wine, and a one-gallon one-off of apple/ruhbarb/strawberry wine alll in ferment stage now too.

Been a busy day:trink39:
