hey all...

i've been playing around a bit with my oxyacetylene rig, and i noticed that sometimes when i open the torch fuel valve, there's this buzzing sound and slight vibration. i noticed it usually only happens when i open the valve quickly. i'm guessing that the diaphragm in the regulator is flopping around or something, or maybe it's something in the torch handle? either way, is this something i should be concerned about and/or replace? it doesn't seem to affect gas pressure or flow.

thanks

We've had a couple at work do that and have had no problems with them. Sounds like somebody with bad gas inside the regulator letting go :).
The real odd sound is when they squeel, sounds like somebody murdering a rabbit now that will really throw you for a loop.....Mike
