WANTED....990 Decal Photos

Doug, what software does your printer friend use? I do a lot of business with our local sign shop and I might be able to convince the blonde overthere to come out and do a layout for me. My daughter got a nasty flu last night and I didn't make it out to the garage. Hopefully I can shoot them this afternoon.

I think he uses corel draw or adobe issustrator and then to a sign cutter software.

I find it a shame that MTD does not stock the decals or any photos of them, when I called yesterday, they just about spit out their coffee, when I told them I had a 73 mtd 990

I would like to create a catalog of each of the variants of the 990's, with pictures and mesurements, and files to print your own decals, and not to make money off of them, kinda helping others to help myself if you know what I mean.

I believe that guy got those set up from one of our friends here on MTF. maybe Chargin.
And by the way I would love to have a set of the Farm king 16 decals if they are not too expensive.

Yes, I did have decals made for mine, albeit with the "Fourteen Hundred" branding, and then promptly lost my work with a hard drive crash. Trying to recover it but the hard drive currently sounds like my alarm clock

From the Pictures Jim provided:thanku: , I have started to make the decals in Inkscape in SVG format

These are just done quickly and will needed to be printed and compared to see if they need more work.

hi Doug, t-shirt here let me know the cost for the setup for the 990 decals maybe I could help out. I have the ones that go on both sides of the hood, could use the rest of them, I'll see if I can figure out how to post them right now not a clue . this is all new to me

they can duplicate any decal if you have proper measurements and good pics. i forget the fellas name but if you speak to him(owner), he will cut a deal on 10 or more. so if enough guys here are interested.....
