Just got a new fainting goat. About 15wks,old and would like to leash train him but I don't know how to go about it. Has anyone done this? What kind of collar? How and when to start? Thanks for any suggestions. Jimmjo

How do you walk a goat that keeps falling down?
With a strong leash! :ROF :ROF :ROF

Seriously though, I would use one of the dog harness' made to tighten up if he pulls against it (about $10 at Wally World). As far as when, the earlier the better! :goodl:

I always though fainting goats were one of the funniest things I ever saw! I'd be scarring him all the time! :ROF :ROF ~~ grnspot110

Well, if he's going to be a "guard goat" I'd get him started right away on a nice chrome choker collar. Let him know right away who's boss!:D

What would he say, you ask? "Stop! Or I'll fall on you!" :ROF

Very nice pic. looks like you have a nice friend there. The leash training is going pretty good. It's going to take some time yet but in the last day he's doing better than I expected he would. He won't have to guard anything I have a rooster for that.
