On a C-175 I have started shooting fuses.So I rewired the tractor ,no help,
unpluged the stator,no help.Could a coil start breaking down and start pulsing voltage .I will read voltage off the battery anywhere from 12 to 114 volts???

I replaced the coil and condenser and the voltage feed back disappeared.
The cough that the motor had has gotten alot better with the new parts.
This is the first time that I have seen a coil go bad and still work.
