I am looking at taking a vintage bench top Walker Turner drill press home. I believe it is a model 900.

The one I am looking to bring home has a large base. It is 32”x32”, and has a 1&1/2” lip around it. (for holding liquids, I presume?)
It runs, has the step pulleys in place, and the spindle runs true without noticeable wobble.
The problem is it’s missing the table. Any idea how impossible to find that is going to be?

Vintage Walker Turner is legendary. I had a DP like the bench model you show. Also had 10 or 12 bandsaw that was topnotch. Good stuff.

After a bunch of cruddy projects in the last few weeks, it’s time for something fun.

1. Roof patch from a tree branch.
2. Water heater replacement on Wednesday.
3. Sewer ejector pump tonight.

Bring on the rust! I wanna buff and paint something.

Oh, and this pain in my arse:

Just over a minute.
Btw, I took these pics with an IPhone, and I deliberately held the phone in every position taking the pics, even upside down. All loaded correctly!
