Great YouTube video. That first mower was a Craftsman built by RPM, the same as RPM's Rotoflo model. The third mower was Lawn-Boy 1RB30LB and the last one, # 6, was a model 3200 or 3210 Lawn-Boy.
Thanks for sharing. Love to see this old mowers running. Good to have you back on.
Lee,
The Craftsman would be a 1949,1950 or 1951 model. If you look closely, you can see where it had some aluminum spikes in the front similar to the later RPM models that had a stamped steel rake or teeth in front. The 1948 model did not have any type of guard in front. The three bolts on the top front of the deck hold the aluminum casting with the spikes that was added in 1949. 1952 models had different deck with stamped steel plate with teeth. :thanku:

I thought the Snapper Twenty looked awful crude. But it was likely a low priced model. Still good to see someone has rescued it and taking care of it.
A far cry form the early Snapping Turtle models and not near the later self propelled models. I have a Snapper 18 inch with a Tecumseh Power Products 2 cycle that is built very well. Steel deck but light and easy to push.
I have one of the older models too.. this has the first vertical shafted 4 cycle engine on it.. it is in my garage or pics uploaded to my profile.. the name of the mower is Goodall.. was made just east of Kansas City.. the year is 1947..
Mr. Goodall had a contract with Lausen engine company to buy their sub-finished (not complete) horizantal engine.. Mr. Goodall added parts to it & turned the crank vertically..
durin the 5 year span of this contract..Lausen couldn't sell a vertical shafted 4 cycle engine.. at about 3-4 years in that contract..Techumsey bought out Lausen.. the wordin of that contract also kept Tecky form sellin one too..
