Re: Your Favorite Weather Links

I use this one alot. Sometimes it doesn't always load:fing20:but when it does I can scroll it all around the Country/add Temps and other stuff with the overlays and layers. :fing32:

I like that also, I saved it to my computer dock last week from one of your post. The Harrison temp is right on with my PWS.

I still have not been able to get that map sorted out to work on my laptop. I think it is either a java or flash blocking issue. So far I've deleted and reinstalled both programs, turned off my ad blockers and dug around in my AV software, tried it with three different browsers and still a no go. I have not gave up just yet though. :fing32:

I just discovered W Underground, and they get bought out by the Weather Channel x_x

I use Underground, and weather.com together. I just average the two forecasts together to get a big picture. I like how the weather channel has an actual hourly forecast, hour by hour. I like how Underground has a map with fronts on it, I can't find one on weather.com.

I'm pretty good at looking at the radar and seeing where everything's going to go now, now I have to train myself up on reading fronts. I love science, and I LOVE weather!

I've been thinking about setting up. Only just now settling into my house, so I may gather some equipment this fall.
If you do, feel free to start up a thread here telling us about it. :trink39:

I assembled my first analog Heath Kit with dial gauges in the late 1980's and replaced it with my current Davis Vantage Pro in 2002. I would not know what clothes to put on in the morning without one at this point. :D

"I would not know what clothes to put on in the morning without one at this point." My weather geekness (sadly  ) parallels Mark's :trink39:

I will put in a plug for accuweather.com. I knew some of the founders back at PSU in the 70's. I miss Joe Bastardi's forecasts.

I miss my Davis VantagePro. I am not as satisfied with my current PWS.
