Update

I read a lot on here and find myself wishing I saw more updates and pictures of what you guys are doing to your projects and I realized that I never do any of that stuff myself so here goes.

I got my first big tractor last June. Since then I got a local shop to change my rear seals, do a brake job, rewire, and replace a worn axel and hub.

I have bought a 16ft trailer for hauling the N around and purchased a bush hog, cultivator, and dirt scoop for myself, and went in half on a 6ft boxblade with my brother in law.

I have added a new seat and steering wheel from Agri Supply in Tifton GA.

I used the dirt scoop to haul some leaves to the road where my city garbage will pick them up.

Its not much more then I could get in the wheel barrow but it sure is a lot more fun.

My main concerns now are the oil pressure, which drops to less then 20 psi after 30-45 minutes work.

I am getting some oil in the last plug. What does this mean and what should I be doing to correct it?

Any way, thats myupdate! I will try to do better just because I like reading everyone else's updates so much myself.

if your getting oil on the plug it's probly the rings, it could be a scratch in the sleeve or just plain worn out on that cyclinder. that requires a rebuild. I had a dirt scoop for my 8n and dug out an embankment to put my garage in. was alot of work, but better than a shovel. had to get a loader, the plated my neck from top to bottom, so I can't turn around to see what I was digging.lol

I'm sure some other fella's will chime in about your oil problem, nice work and we always love pic's!!!!:trink39:
There isn't any oil in the head - Unless it's blowing past the spark plug.

Difficult to tell in the last photo but, is that an oil line running across the top of the manifold?

Good point. If the line is not good, the oil could "migrate" to the head. Maybe that is your problem with pressure. Or was this an oil spill. May want to clean it off with gas or something and see if it comes back.

The oil pressure will go down after running awhile. I think this is normal. Also maybe your guage needs to be replaced.
Are you sure it is oil, antifreeze sometimes has an oily look.
