I just saw this item on E-Bay that is definitely a Gravely attachment, but not one I've ever seen before. Does anyone here know what this is? The seller calls it a plow mount, but it would require a much narrower plate set than any of the plows I've seen. I hate not knowing.

Can you guys tell from the base plate if it mounts with the big hole in the vertical or horizontal plane?

Not really but if it was made right it shouldn't matter how you mount it to the nose of the tractor. All the mount holes should be equal distance apart.

I would also guess a homemade plow mount - based on the angle and length of the welded section.

It may fit a Gravely but I don't think it came from Gravely. The welds just do no look like it was done in a factory setting, plus it looks like a bead on the top edge of the nose piece. What ever it was used for it must have swiveled up and down by the scratch marks which seem to be concentric with the large hole,and the small hole could have been used to hold a lock bolt or pin.
