There's someone locally selling a uni-drive hydro transmission out of a 518-H for a decent price. Is that transmission compatible with a 416-H or 520-H?
I think someone here mentioned that the 518-H they had was not a serviceable transmission (oil level and filter), where the transmissions on my 416 and 520s are serviceable.
Just wondering if it might make sense to have a spare sitting around if one of the hydro drives does prove to be bad. Both have some issues that may be minor -- or may not.
