First off, its either a K57 or K58 I cant remember. Manual says 10w30 for the change. Somewhere, and I cant remember where, I read that they changed it to 20w50. I have some old mobile one red cap 15w50 and thought this would be a good time to use it up. Did I dream this up or would this be ok? Thanks.

I used the 5W-50 when I did my K46.

Toro recommends 15-50 in their professional zero turn mowers. Both are doing the same thing.
Mmm, not quite. Zero turns are basically a summertime tool, while LTs and GTs are often year round tools that need the lower viscosity number for winter operations.

I agree, mine is used for summer only so I guess it is OK in my instance. I am in the south east also, those in the north would be different also. You have a valid consideration. Thanks.
