16's need the tubes, the 18's do not.
Tubes with V61's
Who runs tubes with their V61's? When I ordered mine this week Miller said these tires needed tubes. Just curious as to how people are running them. They are 16/6.50-8 on stock 300 series rims.

The simple reason is that the 16's won't set the bead at all. I tried twice and both times the 16's went flat just sitting there. I argued with my JD dealer who said they don't need tubes to install tubes and they wouldn't do it for fear of tearing the tubes, so I had Theo mount them for me.
