Hello, It's been awhile since my last post. I thought i would share my latest project. A Bolens G10, re powered/ 13hp kohler ohv, all new rebuilt drivetrain, bearings, seals etc.. Modified front axle & spindles & steering arm. Custom fuel tank (under seat), repaint w/new decals. also new tires (10.50s & 16x6.50s). Reused ac/delco starter/gen (rebuilt) & adapted for use with new engine. Just took a test run, drives and runs great. Need to finish some details and it's done! Please check out album and let me know about your thoughts & opinions. Thanks. P.S. note: anyone rebuilding tube frame transaxles should look close at small shafts used for spider gears for differential! mine had worn quite a bit & had alot of play!! had a shop make new ones, glad i did..

Very well done. Very professional looking. You made that look like a factory install. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Ratboy for the kind words. This G10 has been in the family since new. I finally got around to restoring it. The old tecumseh hh100 was getting tired (rebuilt 10+ yrs ago) and many of other parts & pieces were just worn out. The changes i made were done mainly due to engine upgrade. The most difficult was trying to get starter/gen to work in same location as OEM. Didn't want to cut the hood! Overall i think it looks close to the original.
Very nice.
Very well done, Wedge. Looks like factory-built.
