Troybilt M8T Kohler Horse III Parts Question

Hey folks,

Anyone have a line on where to get a throttle cable for #856336 Troybilt Horse III M8T Kohler tiller? After doing a modest reno on the engine fuel system and trans/tines seals, I'd like to start this baby up but I see the cable is either rusted/kinked/otherwise stuck in the throttle cable sheath and pushing it has caused the sheath to separate from the throttle lever. Now it does nothing but push the whole cable assembly instead of the actual throttle down near the engine. Assuming there is no fix for this, I need a new throttle cable assembly (part no. 9033 old part no 9240) but it seems they are no longer available. Will be a shame to have to rig up another half-baked throttle cable, but....

You have to use a universal cable and cut to fit on these. --- I have done many that way.

That includes the throttle lever, too, correct? Unfortunately the outer sheath separated from the lever assembly as they can do.

Kit has all of the parts to make complete new throttle. including different styles of ends---I use the standard thumb bar on mine.

Buying off Ebay or from a parts supply? Thanks for the help!

I got some of mine from Rural- King but There should be kits on e-bay or Amazon
