Hello all, I have a tra-10d Wisconsin motor and the governor flywheel is shattered, does anyone know whereabouts I can find parts for these? I believe I may need a new carburator as well.

Also random question but I know some of these cam with electric ignitions, mine has the magneto pull start with an electric ignition module bypassing the points and condenser and I was wondering, can I convert it to and ignition system?

The part number you want is GD-146A. You can sometimes find them used on eBay but I'm not seeing any at the moment. There is a supposedly new on here:
wisconsin engine govener gear gd146-a-s1
If worse comes to worst I may have one kicking around.

That must be a replacement engine, you don't see many TRAs around with a magneto, only the earlier TRs. I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Do you want to convert it back to points & condenser? Or are you wanting to add an electric starter?

Sorry If i was confusing, could I add an electric starter?

Yes, you'd need the proper starter sheave/pulley (which you may already have) along with the starter mounting brackets. Some electrical work would likely be involved as well. Hard to say without knowing what model of tractor you have and how else it's been modified.

Truth be told, it's not a tractor. From all the research I've done the bolens had a lot of the tr10s on them so I figured if anyone was knowledgeable on it it would probably be the people on this particular part of the forum. It's a Mott B9 flail mower I believe I'm almost positive

That sounds interesting, I wouldn't mind seeing a few pictures. It shouldn't be too difficult to add an electric starter. In addition to what I mentioned above, you'd need a push-to-start button, a starter solenoid, a Delco-type voltage regulator to keep the battery charged and a bracket to mount them. I have a standalone Wisconsin S8D set up this way but I haven't messed with it yet.

EDIT: Pages 89-93 (95-99 in the PDF) of this document should help you.
