I am getting used to this one bail controlling both the engine cut off and the SP controll. Anyone with a single bail Toro commercial care to tell me how this shoul dbe adjusted. It seems with mine I either let go too much and the engine momentarliy cuts off or I can't let go enough to disengage the SP.

As it is, it makes mowing smoothly a bit of a chore.

I put a heavy plastic tywrap on my 22040 drive/ shutoff bail. It's adjusted so it stays running with the tywrap in place, all you have to do is squeeze the handle fully for SP drive. If you slide the tywrap over to the side, it'll shut down. There's about 1/2 - 3/4" 'slack difference' between SP engagement and shutdown.

It may be visible in the Mower Pics thread, or on one of my earlier posts. (Just the tywrap)
