I am offered a 2 stoke toro that is running. Missing the air cleaner cover. It is front propelled. Is this a good machine, and does anybody have the cover in a parts mower? I think he wants about 50 or less but I know that you can be quickly in about 150 when buying a mower and won't get it back. I have heard here that toro 2 strokes are great, but I am a little deterred by the front wheel drive. Any thoughts? Thanks. I would post pictures but they are too large.

So, I can hardly push this thing because the wheels are all twisted. I cleaned the jets and carb, cleaned the ports, and put in a new plug - compression at 130. This thing runs great. So smooth. I have been messing with Duraforce and am 100 deep in the POS and I am so pleasantly surprised with this.
Now, does anybody need this motor for a project? The deck is some non-steel but is rough. The motor is great though.
Second, everybody posts about LB series of engines. Are there equivalent suzuki engine series? I think this is rated at 3.5 HP but I see that some are 5 or more. Are they all the same engine series?
Very impressed with this. If I could get new wheels maybe I would use it. It runs like a tank when I engage the drive even with the wheels being all twisted.
