Toolboxes side and corner?

Does anyone have any truck toolboxes that they like that are not the standard front of the box over the rail toolbox that goes from side to side? I have seen odd shaped ones that mount on the side and kindof fit over one end of the inner fender well but I"m low on cash. I might build one or two of them. I have some nice treated 3/4" plywood I could use to make them. I carry tools in a toolbox/briefcase. I would rather get them out of the cab. My 09 Ranger also has tie down brackets in all 4 corners. I often haul riding mowers or other large items and would like to keep space open for them.
